On the other hand, many Wikipedias have much lower standards about referencing their information. We also know that fake death entries into Wikipedia have become a popular prank. Therefore this template must be used with caution.<br />

If the template is contested, it may be moved to the article talk page.<br />

It may be removed altogether when it is established with due diligence that information about death is nonverifiable, preferably with a notice or discussion on the article talk page.<br />

To prevent reinsertion of the removed template you may leave it commented out, with additional comments, e.g., "Moved to talk page" or "Discussed in the talk page."<br />

There is an optional parameter: <code><nowiki>language-code</nowiki></code>. Wikidata is used to query the corresponding article in that language edition of Wikipedia.<br />
